Cookie Policy

Last updated: 21 October 2026

This Cookie Policy explains how U4RIA uses cookies and similar technologies on u4ria.co.uk, and how you can control them. It should be read alongside our Privacy Policy.

What are cookies?

Cookies are small text files stored on your device when you visit a website. They help the site work, remember your choices and, with your permission, help us understand how the site is used and show you relevant ads. Similar technologies include pixels, tags and local storage. We refer to all of these as "cookies".

Your choices

When you first visit our site, our cookie banner lets you accept or reject non-essential cookies. We only set analytics and marketing cookies if you agree. You can change your mind at any time by clicking Cookie preferences in our website footer. You can also block or delete cookies in your browser settings, but some parts of the site, such as your basket and checkout, may not work without strictly necessary cookies.

The cookies we use

1. Strictly necessary

These are needed for the website to work, for example to keep items in your basket, process checkout securely, remember your cookie choices and your country or currency. They can't be switched off. They are provided by Shopify, our e-commerce platform.

Examples: cart, secure_customer_sig, localization, _tracking_consent, keep_alive. Duration: session to 1 year.

2. Analytics and performance (with your consent)

These help us understand how visitors use the site, such as which pages are popular and where people leave, so we can improve it.

Providers: Shopify Analytics and Google Analytics (sent through our conversion-tracking tool, Elevar).
Examples: _shopify_y, _shopify_s, _ga, _ga_*. Duration: up to 2 years.

3. Marketing (with your consent)

These let us and our advertising partners show you relevant U4RIA ads on other sites and social media, and measure whether our ads are working. They also connect your browsing with our emails if you've signed up.

Providers: Meta (Facebook and Instagram), Klaviyo and Elevar.
Examples: _fbp, _fbc (Meta), __kla_id (Klaviyo). Duration: up to 2 years.

4. Functional (with your consent)

These support extra features such as product reviews (Judge.me) and live chat (Shopify Inbox), and remember your preferences.

The exact cookies used can change as we update our site and partners. The categories above will always reflect how we use them.

Third-party cookies

Some cookies are set by third parties, such as Meta and Google. Their use of data is governed by their own privacy policies:

Changes to this policy

We may update this Cookie Policy from time to time. The latest version will always be on this page.
